Will the redue in the BCS Championship Game be met with a collective national sleepfestand end up kick-starting the national playoff question that eventually lead to a huge change in the system? If there is a repeat of the 2011 season with Alabama and LSU shaping up to be the two best teams in the country, then a second consecutive BCS Championship Game rematch would be something truly special. For this to happen, there can’t be an unbeaten team from another BCS conference. LSU doesn’t play the upsetting nonconference schedule it had last year, but the SEC is far worse with the addition of Texas A&M and Missouri. And Florida, Auburn and Mississippi State — all on the Tigers’ schedule — are likely to be al lot easier. If LSU goes 13-0 with an SEC title for a consecutive straight season, not only will it be the unfettered No. 1 team, but it will give Alabama some cred if it loses in a tight game. Don’t forget to find a good sportsbook before the Season gets in full swing. I always shop two or three to get the best odds.
