It wasn’t exactly a tantalizing Sugar Bowl last January, with sub-par offensive play shut down by stellar defenses, but it was one of the most watched postseason games of the 2011 season, after a shady replay erased a catch that could have given the Hokies the win. A rematch on the line would certainly settle the issue. Virginia Tech shut down Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson once, and it would be awesome to see if the D could do it again. This year’s Hokies might not be the greatest team in the Frank Beamer era, but they have one of the nation’s number one quarterbacks, Logan Thomas, and a stout defense, as always. Michigan’s destruction at the hands of Alabama on Sept. 1 may have already ruined the Wolverines chances of the national title picture. Don’t forget to find a good sportsbook before the Season gets in full swing. I always shop two or three to get the best odds.
